A medical device with extended thrombin release and a manufacturing method. The method comprises the following steps:(1) performing ultrasonic washing of a medical device using deionized water, drying the medical device, then immersing the medical device in a hydroxyethane diphosphonic acid solution, then performing a second round of drying and rinsing of the medical device (2) immersing the treated medical device from step (1) in a hydroxylapatite suspension, then removing the medical device for drying and (3) immersing the treated medical device from step (2) in a thrombin solution to obtain the medical device with extended thrombin release. The method realizes targeted and extended release of thrombin and of other drugs that can only be applied locally. The method can be used to manufacture a functional drug-device combination directly placed at a targeted human organ or surgical site.Linvention concerne un dispositif médical à libération prolongée de thrombine et un procédé de fabrication. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : (1) effectuer un lavage par ultrasons dun dispositif médical à laide deau désionisée, sécher le dispositif médical, puis immerger le dispositif médical dans une solution dacide hydroxyéthane diphosphonique, puis effectuer un second cycle de séchage et de rinçage du dispositif médical (2) immerger le dispositif médical traité à létape (1) dans une suspension dhydroxylapatite, puis retirer le dispositif médical pour le sécher et (3) immerger le dispositif médical traité à létape (2) dans une solution de thrombine pour obtenir le dispositif médical à libération prolongée de thrombine. Le procédé permet une libération ciblée et prolongée de thrombine et dautres médicaments qui ne peuvent être appliqués que localement. Le procédé peut être utilisé pour fabriquer une combinaison fonctionnelle médicament-dispositif, placée directement au niveau dun organe humain ou dun site chirurgical ciblé.
