PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment for a nicotine reactive neuropsycological disturbance including administration of a pharmaceutically effective dose of exo-S-mecamylamine (a nicotine antagonist) or a pharmaceutically allowable salt of the same substantially free from exo-R-mecamylamine.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for the nicotine reactive neuropsycological disturbance comprises a pharmaceutically effective dose of exo-S-mecamylamine (a nicotine antagonist) or a pharmaceutically allowable salt of the same substantially free from exo-R-mecamylamine in combination with a pharmaceutically allowable carrier. The preferred pharmaceutically effective dose of the agent is about 0.5 mg to about 20 mg.【課題】実質的にエキソ－R－メカミラミンを含まない薬剤的有効量のエキソ－S－メカミラミンまたは薬剤的に許容されるその塩を投与することによってニコチン反応性神経精神障害を治療する。その薬剤的有効量はその病状を改善するのに十分な量である。【解決手段】薬剤的に許容される担体と組み合わせて、実質的にエキソ－R－メカミラミンを含まない薬剤的有効量のエキソ－S－メカミラミンまたは薬剤的に許容されるその塩を含むニコチン反応性神経精神障害薬剤組成物。好ましくは、その薬剤的有効量は約０．５ｍｇから約２０ｍｇである。【選択図】なし
