When the blood glucose meter is powered on and/or powered off, the blood glucose meter reads the blood glucose level table storing a measured blood glucose level and calculates a moving average value of the blood glucose level measured during a predetermined period of time until the present to evaluate the calculated result by five-point rating. The evaluation result is displayed in any one of five face illustrations so that a patient can clearly understand the management status of his/her blood glucose level.
