PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent image from which the chemical shift artifact of water signals and fat signals is removed even at a fine structure part without being affected by the duplication of the spectrum of the water signals and the fat signals.
SOLUTION: Water and fat separation images are obtained by an operation using the signal strength of pixels at the same position in respective images reconstructed from echo signals obtained in each of a plurality of sub coils, the relative sensitivity of the pixels obtained from the sensitivity distribution in a frequency encoding direction of the respective sub coils, and the relative sensitivity of the position separated in the frequency encoding direction by a distance calculated from the difference of the resonance frequencies of water and fat.
