PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief valve and an air cushion device using the relief valve applied in an air cushion used in a wheel chair for care and the like, in particular, in which a fine pressure adjustment can be carried out and uncomfortable sound caused by vibration of a valve body at the time of releasing pressure can be restricted.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a relief valve constituted to have a valve case 12 opened with an inlet port 18 into which fluid flows at one end is rotated, a handle cap 24 fitted in thread to a valve case 12 is rotated in a peripheral direction to enable a biasing force of a biasing member 36 for a valve body 28 to be adjusted and further a fine adjustment of valve opening pressure force of a valve body can be carried out.
