PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretcher carrying assistant device for enabling carrying a stretcher with a small number of people even in an accessible flat route with a narrower width than that of the stretcher to be carried.SOLUTION: A stretcher carrying assistant device 1 is installed to a stretcher 100 having a pair of parallel support bars 110 and a sheet 120 stretched between the pair of support bars 110 in order to assist carrying the stretcher 100. The stretcher carrying assistant device 1 includes: a support pole 10 detachably attached to one end 110a of the pair of support bars 110 of the stretcher 100 and a single wheel 20 provided at a bottom end of the support pole 10 and positioned at a center of the stretcher 100 in a width direction.
