The sensor is formed so that a part thereof can be placed under the skin, and the computing section is placed so as to be isolated from the sensor section. The sensor section additionally comprises a water-impermeable film having an adhesive layer on one side. The sensor comprises a housed part placed under the skin, and a main part placed on the skin surface. The water-impermeable film is formed so as to prevent a moisture penetration into the main part when it covers the main part with the adhesive layer facing the main part. When implementing the method, the sensor unit comprising the sensor that outputs a signal in accordance with the quantitative information is placed on the skin so that a part of the sensor is placed under the skin.
