The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition comprising: a) a thermoplastic resin and b) a metal compound in an amount of at least 1 wt% with respect to the weight of the total composition, wherein the metal compound is represented by the formula AB 2 O 4 , wherein A stands for copper and optionally one or more further metals and B stands for a combination of chromium and manganese and optionally one or more further metals.
