PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology continuing a tracking process as precisely as possible even if a pattern matching process is not performed at sufficient precision.

SOLUTION: A tracking process section 20 tracks a tracking point set in image data of a time phase to be a criterion across a plurality of time phases. The tracking process section 20 moves the tracking point to a predicted position found from the moving distance of the tracking point or a tracing position obtained by the pattern matching process related to the image data. That is to say, this equipment moves the tracking point to the tracing point, if the tracing point is within the prediction range, and to the predicted position, if the tracing point is out of the prediction range, using the prediction range set using the predicted point as a criterion.
