The device (51) sends-off the second sheet (5a) toward the merging position (Pj) while changing the stretching state of the second sheet (5a) so that the display items (IL) are aligned at the first pitch and so that the display item (IL) is located at a target position on the first sheet (5a) is determined based on the first pitch.
