PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning device dispensing with troublesome ozone management such as ventilation inside a living room or the like, or the confirmation of ozone concentration inside the living room or the like by certainly preventing exhaust (discharge) of ozone into the living room or the like.SOLUTION: This air cleaning device 1 includes a housing 2 wherein an air suction port 3 is opened on the upstream end, equipped with an exhaust fan 4 on the downstream end, and formed with a ventilation path 6 communicating the air suction port 3 and the exhaust fan 4 in a body. An ultraviolet irradiation lamp 7 for generating ozone is disposed on the upstream side of the ventilation path 6, and an oxidative decomposition filter 8 serving also as an ozone forcible decomposition catalyst filter forcibly decomposing ozone in the ventilation path 6 into oxygen molecules and oxygen atoms, and oxidizing foreign matter in the ventilation path 6 is disposed on the downstream side thereof.【課題】 オゾンの居室内等への排出（放出）を確実に防止して、居室内等の換気を図ったり、居室内等のオゾン濃度を確認するなどの煩雑なオゾン管理を不要にし得る空気清浄装置を提供する。【解決手段】 空気清浄装置１は、上流端に空気吸込口３を開口し下流端に排気ファン４を装備し、体内に空気吸込口３と排気ファン４を連通させる通気路６を設けた筺体２を備える。そして、通気路６の上流側にオゾンを発生させるための紫外線照射ランプ７が配置され、その下流側には、通気路６のオゾンを酸素分子と酸素原子に強制分解し、かつ、通気路６の異物を酸化するオゾン強制分解触媒フィルター兼酸化分解フィルター８が配置される。【選択図】 図２
