PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein-based granule, which is reduced in bitter and astringent tastes while containing gallate type catechin, and has excellent tableting adaptability, a method for producing the same, a chewable tablet which has high hardness and excellent crunching property and is reduced in bitter and astringent tastes while containing gallate type catechin, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The gallate type catechin-containing granule includes 30-90 wt.% of protein and 7-25 wt.% of gallate type catechin, in which particles with a particle size passing through a 100-mesh sieve (aperture 150 μm) are 25% or less of the total weight.
