PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which makes a body liquid absorbed by absorption layers harder to leak out from the peripheral part of rear flaps in a type having the rear flaps with the absorption layers.
SOLUTION: The article has an absorber 2 longitudinal in substance with body absorption layers (21 and 23) and a body anti-leakage layer 22 and a pair of rear flaps 3 which are extended outward across the width respectively from both side parts of at least the rear part in the absorber 2. In the absorbent article 1, the rear flaps 3 have a flap surface sheet 31, a flap rear sheet 32 and a flap absorbent 33 interposed between them. The flap rear sheet 32 is a double-layer structure of an upper layer sheet having a number of rising parts protruding toward the flap absorbent 33 and a breathing lower layer sheet.
