PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition used for suppressing an increase in blood pressure or lowering blood pressure in a subject who ingests a high fat meal or a high calorie diet.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composition derived from oat bran. The composition comprises 10% by mass or greater of β-glucan, 30% by mass or greater of dietary fiber, 18% by mass or greater of protein, 8% by mass or greater of fat, and up to 40% by mass of saccharide.
