PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition exhibiting a high stain deposition suppressing effect and a stain removing effect, giving low stimulation to the oral mucosa, having excellent application feeling such as taste and foamability and having good preservation stability.SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition is produced by compounding (A) an acylamino acid salt, (B) an alkylsulfuric acid salt, (C) a straight-chain water-soluble polyphosphoric acid salt expressed by general formula (1): Mn+2PnO3n+1 (in the formula, M is Na or K and n is an integer of 2 or 3) and (D) a polyethylene glycol, wherein the compounding amount of the component (C) is 0.3-1.5 mass% and that of the component (D) is 0.3-3 mass%.
