The invention relates to an anaerobic digester (7) for producing biogas (25), comprising a tank (8) that can contain solid biomass (23) and having, in the upper part thereof, at least one region (9) for the admission of the solid biomass (23) and the evacuation of the residual digested solid biomass (19), over which a roof (10) can open and close, and at least one region (9') for the evacuation of the biogas (25). The invention also relates to a method for producing biogas and to an anaerobic digestion facility using a main digestion unit (1) particularly for supplying at least one anaerobic digester (7) containing solid biomass (23) with liquid digestate (5), and for receiving and storing the biogas produced by the at least one anaerobic digester (7).La présente invention concerne un digesteur de méthanisation 7, destiné à la production de biogaz 25, comportant une cuve 8, apte à contenir de la biomasse solide 23, comportant au niveau de sa partie supérieure : au moins une zone 9 d'admission de la biomasse solide 23 et d'évacuation de la biomasse solide digérée résiduelle 19, sur laquelle un toit 10 est apte à s'ouvrir et à se refermer, et au moins une zone 9' d'évacuation du biogaz 25. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production de biogaz ainsi qu'une installation de méthanisation mettant en œuvre une unité de digestion principale 1 destinée notamment à alimenter en digestat liquide 5 un ou plusieurs digesteurs de méthanisation 7 contenant de la biomasse solide 23, et à recevoir et stocker le biogaz produit par le ou les digesteurs de méthanisation 7.
