PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical waste treatment method capable of treating medical waste safely and efficiently by using a simple device.SOLUTION: Accordingly to the medical waste treatment method, used medical clothes are put in a treatment tank. In the treatment tank, after the used clothes are soaked in hot water whose temperature is raised higher than the human body temperature and a water soluble material is dissolved, chlorinate disinfectant is supplied, neutralizer to the chlorinate disinfectant is supplied to neutralize the water, and the liquid in the treatment tank is discharged into the river, a sewer, or a septic tank from the treatment tank.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡単な装置を用いて安全に効率良く医療廃棄物の処理を行うことが可能な医療廃棄物の処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一実施形態では、使用済みの医療用衣類を処理槽に投入し、処理槽内において、使用済みの医療用衣類を人間の体温よりも高い温度に昇温された温水に浸漬して水溶性素材を溶かした後、塩素系消毒剤を供給し、さらに前記塩素系消毒剤に対する中和剤を供給して中和し、この処理槽内の液体を処理槽から河川もしくは下水道または浄化槽に排出する。【選択図】 図1
