PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical probe capable of emitting a light emitted at the time of observation to only a part in a circumferential direction.SOLUTION: An optical probe connected to an OCT device includes an optical fiber 11 having a GRIN lens 13 at the tip for emitting a light in a direction intersecting with an axial direction, a circular exterior body 20 whose tip is sealed, having a translucent part (slit 23b) that transmits the light emitted from the GRIN lens 13 in a part in the circumferential direction and a blocking part (peripheral wall 23a) for blocking the light in the remaining part in the circumferential direction, which stores the optical fiber 11 so that it is rotated around the axial direction, and a steel ball 26 for blocking the light, which is disposed ahead of the tip of the optical fiber 11 and inside the exterior body 20 in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】観察の際に出射される光を周方向の一部のみに出射することができる光プローブを提供する。【解決手段】光プローブは、ＯＣＴ装置に接続される光プローブであって、軸方向と交差する方向に光を出射するＧＲＩＮレンズ１３を先端に有する光ファイバ１１と、ＧＲＩＮレンズ１３から出射される光を周方向の一部において透過する透光部（スリット２３ｂ）、及び、当該光を周方向の残部において遮蔽する遮蔽部（周壁２３ａ）を有し、軸方向を中心に光ファイバ１１を回転自在に収容する、先端が封止された筒状の外装体２０と、軸方向において、光ファイバ１１の先端よりも前方であって、外装体２０の内側に配置された、光を遮蔽する鋼球２６と、を備える。【選択図】図２
