PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible-light response type photocatalyst with a high decomposition efficiency of a material to be treated.
SOLUTION: The visible-light response type photocatalyst has a p-type organic semiconductor and a n-type organic semiconductor, wherein the photocatalyst consists of a three-layer structure in which the p-type organic semiconductor and the n-type organic semiconductor are laminated on an adsorption material layer in this order.
