Použití statinových léciv ke zlepšení diabetické neuropathie, konkrétne ke zlepšení rychlosti nervového vedení a nervového krevního prutoku u pacientu trpících diabetem, zejména farmaceutické kombinace statinových léciv a jiných cinidel, o kterých je známo, že zlepšují diabetickou neuropathii, jako je napríklad inhibitor aldózareduktázy (ARI), inhibitor angiotensin konvertujícího enzymu (ACE) nebo antagonista angiotensinu II (AII), pricemž tyto kombinace lze použít k prevenci a lécení komplikací diabetu.The present invention relates to a new use of a statin medicament in the improvement of diabetic neuropathy, specifically in improving nerve conduction velocity and nerve blood flow in patients suffering diabetes, in particular to pharmaceutical combinations of the statin medicament and other agents known to improve diabetic neuropathy such as an aldose reductase inhibitor (ARI), an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor or an angiotensin II (AII) antagonist, which combinations are useful in the prevention and treatment of the complications of diabetes.
