PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a vise for use in fishing on a boat and provide the vise that can be reliably fixed in a boat side even if an external force or a couple is applied in the direction along the boat side.SOLUTION: This vise 10 has a body 13 and a tightening shaft 14. The body 13 has a pair of C-frames 11, 12, and these are relatively turned centering on hinge parts 15, 16. The C-frame 11, 12 have legs 21, 22. When the C-frames 11, 12 are installed to a boat side while being separated to each other, the boat side is sandwiched in the vertical direction by the hinge part 16 and the tightening shaft 14, and the legs 21, 22 are brought into abutment with the inside surface of the boat side.
