The present disclosure is related to a glucometer which, particularly, belongs to the area of portable electronic devices for measuring glucose in Graphic User Interfaces of Smart Mobile Devices. The graphical interface is performed by a USB protocol on any smart mobile device with the ‘Mobile Glucometer û Sugar Control’ mobile application previously installed. It is intended for users who have or want to prevent diabetes a method for the measurement of glucose and a portable electronic device to execute it is proposed. The electronic device proposed is characterized in that: it is a small-sized device it is connected to a smart mobile device screen it does not include a screen it displays the information through the screen of a smart mobile device it does not include any type of pulse buttons it is fully controlled form a smart mobile device via the ‘Mobile Glucometer û Sugar Control’ mobile application specially designed for said purpose it uses de capabilities on the smart mo bile devices to perform actions such as sending and sharing data obtained from the gycemia measurement.La presente invención se refiere a un glucómetro que particularmente, pertenece al área de los dispositivos electrónicos portátiles para la medición de glucosa con interfaz gráfica en Dispositivos Móviles Inteligentes. La interfaz gráfica se realiza mediante protocolo USB en cualquier Dispositivo Móvil Inteligente que contenga la aplicación móvil "Glucómetro Móvil - Control de Azúcar" previamente instalada. Es dirigido a los usuarios que padecen o quieran prevenir diabetes se propone un método para la medición de glucosa con interfaz gráfica en un Dispositivo Móvil Inteligente y un dispositivo electrónico portátil para llevarlo a cabo.
