A capsule medical apparatus (1) includes a function executing unit (15), a secondary battery (10), a power input unit (11), and a connecting circuit (12). The function executing unit (15) performs a predetermined function. The secondary battery (10) supplies electric power to the function executing unit (15). The power input unit (11) receives electric power to charge the secondary battery (10). The connecting circuit (12) releasably connects the secondary battery (10) and the power input unit (11), and releases a connection between the secondary battery (10) and the power input unit (11) to inhibit charging the secondary battery (10).
