The present invention relates to pyrimidinium compounds of formula (I), their stereoisomers, salts, tautomers and N-oxides, mixtures thereof, and compositions comprising such compounds or mixtures. The invention also relates to methods and uses of these pyrimidinium compounds and compositions thereof for combating and controlling animal pests. The present invention also relates to a pesticidal application method of such substituted pyrimidinium compounds.
