The present invention relates to a radiation imaging apparatus, a radiation irradiating apparatus, a radiation detecting apparatus, and a method for controlling the radiation imaging apparatus. The radiation imaging apparatus includes a radiation detecting unit, a first support unit which is formed so that the radiation detecting unit can be movable in at least one of an upward direction and a downward direction, a first braking unit which stops the radiation detecting unit in a plurality of positions, and an image processing unit for generating at least one radiation image by synthesizing an electrical signal which the radiation detecting unit outputs in the plurality of positions.
