The present invention relates to the use of encapsulated menthol to get desired cooling effect without interfering with the perfume of the talcum powder as end product. By encapsulation the odour of the menthol is greatly reduced. On use on the skin the encapsulated powder absorbs moisture and releases the cooling agent and sensation of cooling is felt by the user. The encapsulated cooling agent also gives prolonged cooling over long periods of time as compared to direct use of menthol in the talcum powder. Claiming the following in the patent filed: 1. Use of encapsulated menthol as cooling agents in talcum powder for sustained cooling and better fragrance delivery. 2. Encapsulated menthol to get desired cooling effect without interfering with the perfume of the talcum powder, as end product, which will provide a better and enhanced fragrance delivery.
