A method of charging a battery of a dental light irradiation device has the steps of powering the battery at a first charging current and measuring a first terminal voltage of the battery； powering the battery at a different second charging current and measuring a second terminal voltage of the battery； calculating a battery source voltage； and powering off the battery as soon as the battery source voltage reaches or exceeds the threshold voltage.La présente invention porte sur un procédé de charge d'une batterie d'un dispositif d'exposition à un rayonnement lumineux à usage dentaire, comprenant les étapes consistant : à alimenter la batterie à un premier courant de charge et à mesurer une première tension aux bornes de la batterie ； à alimenter la batterie à un second courant de charge différent et à mesurer une seconde tension aux bornes de la batterie ； à calculer une tension de source de batterie ； et couper l'alimentation de la batterie dès que la tension de source de batterie atteint ou dépasse la tension seuil.
