PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnosis apparatus that makes it easy to register posture information on a subject.SOLUTION: An MRI apparatus 1 comprises: an RF tag reader 21 for reading tag identification information for identifying a region on which an RF tag is fitted, from an RF tag attached to a subject mounted on a bed 20 and a posture determination unit 122 for determining the subjects posture on the basis of the tag identification information read by the RF tag reader 21.
