PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silk sponge body for skin care, which has a sufficient scrub effect being hypoallergenic to skin and keeps the skin clean.SOLUTION: The silk sponge body for skin care is constituted by allowing a sponge body formed of a silk fibroin porous material as a base material, and allowing the silk fibroin porous material to include a porous layer and a film layer which is arranged only on one surface. The silk fibroin porous material is the material which coexists with an additive to be selected from a group including silk fibroin, an organic solvent, amino acid, and aliphatic carboxylic acid and is frozen and kept.
