The cover element (30) comprises an operating section (32) that can be manually pressed in and has markings (34) that can be haptically and optically differentiated, wherein the markings (34) are designed in the form of surface depressions and/or surface elevations of the cover element (30). A medical diagnostic light (10) uses the instrument handle (12) and a medical diagnostic device uses the diagnostic light (10).
