PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood powder spawn of Lentinus edodes, in which increase of yield of fruit body and increase of calcium content of generated fruit body are performed, enabling supply of Lentinus edodes having high added value and to provide a method for culturing a raw wood of Lentinus edodes. SOLUTION: The wood powder spawn of Lentinus edodes is prepared by mixing shellfish fossil with the wood powder spawn of Lentinus edodes or culturing Lentinus edodes fungus in a culture medium for spawn containing shellfish fossil.
