PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formulation having two- or more-layered pharmaceutical layer, incorporated between one or more interlayers, where the pharmaceutical layer comprises, but not limited to, a pharmaceutical composition useful for individual weight loss, appetite suppression and/or treatment of obesity-related disease state.SOLUTION: In one embodiment, the laminated formulation comprises two or more pharmaceutical layers and an interlayer arranged between at least two of the two or more pharmaceutical layers, where the interlayer is constructed so that the two or more pharmaceutical layers remain substantially intact due to it dissolving in vivo.
