PURPOSE: A far infrared ray chamber and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to easily change a lamp.CONSTITUTION: A far infrared ray chamber comprises a half-cylinder capsule(10), a capsule cover(20), and a plurality of wheel bodies. The half-cylinder capsule is formed into a half cylinder body in which the lower part and front and rear thereof are opened. The capsule cover opens or closes an opening and is equipped with a lamp assembly. A plurality of wheel bodies is equipped with a wheel and supports the front and rear movement of the half-cylinder capsule.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012본 발명은 원적외선 챔버 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 신체를 부분적으로 커버링할 수 있는 소형 캡슐을 이용하여 간단한 인공 일광욕, 및 치료 행위 보조를 실시할 수 있게 한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은 하부와 전/후방이 개방된 반원통체로 이루어지며 램프 탈부착을 위한 개구부를 상부에 형성하고 개구부의 내측에 램프 수납함을 개재시킨 반원통 캡슐, 반원통 캡슐의 개구부 일측에 일단부가 힌지로 결합되어 개구부를 개폐시키며 램프 조립체가 내측에 설치되는 캡슐 커버, 및 반원통 캡슐의 하부에 지면과 접하도록 다수 개 설치되며 지면과 접하여 회전 가능하게 설치된 휠이 각각 구비되어 반원통 캡슐의 전/후 방향 이동을 보조하는 다수의 휠바디를 포함하는 원적외선 챔버 및 그 제어방법을 제공하여, 인공적인 원적외선 조사를 통한 일광욕을 부분적으로 실시할 수 있으며, 램프 교체가 용이하게 한다.
