PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mycotoxin biosynthesis inhibitor which suppresses the contamination of agricultural produce, food, and animal feeding stuff with mycotoxins under such circumstances that such contamination occurring in the site of their production and storage is of great concern because of quality and a risk of injuring consumer health.
SOLUTION: The mycotoxin biosynthesis inhibitor in agricultural produce, food, and animal feeding stuff comprises as an active ingredient one or more quaternary ammonium salts (e.g., dialkyldimethylammonium salt).
