The present invention relates to timed extended-release pharmaceutical compositions comprising metoprolol and an extended-release polymer. The pharmaceutical compositions of the present invention exhibit an in-vivo lag time of at least 2 hours and a Tmax of more than 8 hours. Further, said pharmaceutical compositions provide an in-vitro release of metoprolol over a period of at least 20 hours.La présente invention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques à libération prolongée fixe comprenant du métoprolol et un polymère à libération prolongée.
