A medical puncture device, comprising: a housing (12) having a proximal end (18) and a distal end (16); a screen (13) having a proximal end (44) and a distal end (42), the proximal end of the screen being disposed within the housing and the screen being axially movable with respect to the housing; a skin puncture assembly (14) disposed within the housing and comprising a movable carrier (50) and a skin puncture element (52) integral with the wearer, a distal end of the skin puncture element being adapted to puncture a patient's skin, the carrier (50) being movable from a retracted position, in which the distal end of the skin puncture element is disposed within the screen, to a puncture position, in which the distal end of the skin puncture element is exposed within the screen to a puncture position where the distal end of the skin puncture element is exposed from the screen to puncture the patient's skin; a drive spring (70) disposed within the housing, the drive spring being adapted to move the carrier from the retracted position to the puncture position after the release of the at least one retention tab (100) of the carrier, wherein the carrier (50) is held in the retracted position by coupling of at least one retention tab (100) on the screen with the carrier and moves from the retracted position to the puncture position when the at least one retention tab is released (100) of the carrier; an actuating member (101) comprised in the housing (12) and extending internally therein and having a distal end defining a first cam action surface (78) that engages with an opposite cam action surface (80) on the proximal end of the screen (44), wherein the coupling of the opposing cam surfaces (78, 80) is adapted to radially deform the proximal end of the screen of the screen body by the axial displacement of the screen in the housing, so that the at least one retention tab is released from the coupling with the carrier allowing the drive spring (70) to move the carrier (5
