There is provided an image processing method implemented by a medical imaging device comprising at least one camera and at least one display screen on which is displayed a medical image showing a region of interest of a patient , the method being characterized in that the region of interest is determined by the following steps, the screen and the camera being arranged to be simultaneously facing a practitioner acquisition by the camera of at least one tracking image containing the practitioner's eyes, analysis of the tracking image so as to locate in the medical image at least one pixel of interest contemplated by the practitioner on the screen from the orientation of the eyes of the practitioner, treatment of the medical image so as to select the region of interest from the pixel of localized interest. Il est proposé un procédé de traitement d'image mis en œuvre par un dispositif d'imagerie médicale comprenant au moins une caméra et au moins un écran d'affichage sur lequel est affichée une image médicale montrant une région d'intérêt d'un patient, le procédé étant caractérisé en ce que la région d'intérêt est déterminée par les étapes suivantes, l'écran et la caméra étant agencés pour être simultanément en regard d'un praticien acquisition par la caméra d'au moins une image de suivi contenant les yeux du praticien, analyse de l'image de suivi de façon à localiser dans l'image médicale au moins un pixel d'intérêt contemplé par le praticien sur l'écran à partir de l'orientation des yeux du praticien, traitement de l'image médicale de façon à sélectionner la région d'intérêt à partir du pixel d'intérêt localisé.
