This invention provides a nonwoven fabric containing composite fibres constituted by a plurality of resins having different heat shrinking coefficients to form a phase construction. The composite fibres are oriented approximately in parallel with respect to a face direction and a non-woven fabric crimped approximately evenly in a thickness direction and having an average radius of curvature of 20 to 200 μm. This nonwoven fabric contains substancially no adhesive agent and fibres are substancially not fused. The composite fibres are constituted by a polyalkyleneterephthalate resin and a modified polyalkyleneterephthalate resin, and may be a side-by-side type or a core-shell type construction. This nonwoven fabric contains bimetal type composite fibres having a specific crimp which are appropriately tangled. Therefore the nonwoven fabric exhibits a high degree of stretchability, and is suitable for use as tapes such as a bandage and a supporter that can be severed by hand without using a scissors.本發明係製造一種不織布,其係含有由熱收縮率不同之複數樹脂形成相結構之複合纖維的不織布,而前述複合纖維相對於面方向係定向於略平行,且以平均曲率半徑為20至200μm之曲度在厚度方向大致均勻地捲縮。此不織布係實質上不含黏著劑,且各纖維實質上未熔著。前述複合纖維係由聚對酞酸伸烷基酯(polyalkylene terephthalate)系樹脂與改質聚對酞酸伸烷基酯系樹脂所構成,且可為並排(side-by-side)型或芯鞘(sheath-core)型結構。此不織布係由於適度纏繞著具有特定捲縮之雙金屬(bimetal)型複合纖維,故具有高度伸縮性,同時不需使用剪刀等,用手即可輕易撕開,而適合做為繃帶和護帶(supporter)等包紮帶(tape)類。1...樣品2...玻璃紙膠帶3...卷芯(管輥)4...鱷魚夾5...砝碼
