PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer, capable of performing determination of the size of an arm band unit when connecting the arm band portion to a sphygmomanometer body side.SOLUTION: The sphygmomanometer includes a plurality of arm band units 2, 2A of different sizes, each of the units having a blood blocking air bag for blood-blocking an upper arm of a measuring object person, a tube 4, 5 and an air plug 6 provided at an end of the tube as a connecting member and a sphygmomanometer body 10 to which the blood-blocking air bags 14, 14A of the plurality of arm band portions 2, 2A are selectably connected by use of the air plug 6.
