PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washstand which can suppress such a situation that a functional water discharge part becomes obstructive, and such a situation that a toothbrush comes into contact with a front surface of a back guard.SOLUTION: A washstand comprises: a bowl part a back guard which is provided on the bowl part and extends to a position higher than an edge part of the bowl part a water faucet device which is provided on a front surface of the back guard and which comprises a water discharge part for discharging water to the bowl part and a functional water discharge device which is provided on the front surface and which discharges functional water having sterilization action. A length of the functional water discharge device protruding from the front surface to the bowl part is shorter than a length of the water faucet device protruding from the front surface to the bowl part.
