PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wearing type motion assist device enhancing working efficiency by reducing a load on a wearer.SOLUTION: The wearer 12 wears a protective suit 14 and a head protector 16 in a state that this wearing type motion assist device 10 is worn. The motion assist device 10 is installed with an upper body frame 210 formed such that the upper body frame 210 surrounds the upper body of the wearer 12 to a waist support body 30. The upper body frame 210 has: a first upper frame 220 positioned on the right side of the wearer 12 a second upper frame 230 positioned on the left side of the wearer 12 and a connection part 240 connecting the first upper frame 220 and the second upper frame 230. When wearing the protective suit 14, shoulder support parts 222, 232 of the first upper frame 220 and the second upper frame 230 abut on the shoulder part inside of the protective suit 14. Accordingly, the mass of the protective suit 14 is supported by the upper body frame 210 fixed to the waist support body 30, and does not act on the wearer 12.
