The present invention relates to compositions and methods for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and related disorders. More specifically, the invention relates to novel combination therapies for Parkinson's disease and related disorders that target the alpha-synuclein aggregation network. The invention particularly relates to compounds, alone or in combination, that are capable of effectively protecting neuronal cells from alpha-synuclein aggregation. The present invention also relates to a method for producing a drug or combination drug for treating Parkinson's disease, and a method for treating Parkinson's disease and related disorders.
