Melanocortin receptor-4 (MC4R) antagonists are described for use in the therapeutic treatment of a tumor pathology selected from the group consisting of melanoma, tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and thyroid carcinoma. The melanocortin receptor-4 antagonists are suitable for use in a targeted anti-tumor treatment, particularly in the adjuvant therapy or in a therapy which affects the onset and/or progression of tumor metastasis. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a melanocortin receptor-4 (MC4R) antagonist in a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle, as well as in combination with optional adjuvants, stabilizers and/or preservatives, is also described.L'invention concerne des antagonistes du récepteur 4 de la mélanocortine (MC4R) destinés à être utilisés dans le traitement thérapeutique d'une pathologie tumorale choisie dans le groupe constitué par le mélanome, les tumeurs du tractus gastro-intestinal et le carcinome de la thyroïde. Les antagonistes du récepteur 4 de la mélanocortine sont appropriés pour une utilisation dans un traitement anti-tumeur ciblé, en particulier dans la thérapie adjuvante ou dans une thérapie qui affecte l'apparition et/ou la progression d'une métastase tumorale. L'invention concerne également une composition pharmaceutique comprenant un antagoniste du récepteur 4 de la mélanocortine (MC4R) dans un véhicule pharmaceutiquement acceptable, ainsi qu'en combinaison avec des adjuvants, des stabilisants et/ou des conservateurs éventuels.
