PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological condition evaluation device and a biological condition evaluation method, capable of evaluating a biological state with the same accuracy as the one of an expensive and large-sized device when using a simple biological information measuring means, and capable of evaluating the biological state taking the individual difference of subjects into consideration.SOLUTION: The biological condition evaluation device 10 extracts the feature information F of a measured pulse wave by a feature extraction means 12 from the pulse wave which is biological information measured by a biological information measuring means 11. An independent component included in the extracted feature information is extracted in an independent component analysis means 13, and a significant component is calculated from the extracted independent component by a significant component calculation means 14. Calculated biological evaluation signals are fed back to the significant component calculation means 14 and compared with reference signals generated by a reference signal generation means 15 in order to optimize a significant component calculation function.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】簡易な生体情報測定手段を用いても、高価で大型な装置と変わらない精度で、生体状態の評価を行うことができ、また被験者の個人差を考慮した生体状態の評価を可能とした生体状況評価装置及び生体状況評価方法を提供する。【解決手段】生体状況評価装置10は、生体情報測定手段11により測定した生体情報である脈波から、特徴抽出手段12によって、前記測定された脈波の特徴情報Fを抽出する。独立成分分析手段13にて、前記抽出された特徴情報に含まれている独立成分を抽出し、有意成分算出手段14にて、抽出された独立成分から有意な成分を算出する。有意成分算出手段14に算出した生体評価信号をフィードバックして、参照信号生成手段15が生成した参照信号と比較して、有意成分算出関数の最適化を行う。【選択図】図1
