The invention relates to a guiding device attached to a standard transnasal endoscope with 0 degree rigid optics and to a method for performing an ultrasound-guided intracavitary fine-needle biopsy of rhinopharynx with an L-shaped standard linear transducer by the suspension of the soft palate on standard plastic guide. The claimed device is a fixed assembly which allows the endoscope and biopsy needle to move and is manufactured by moulding from polyvinyl chloride, it has a central orifice with a diameter of 2.7 mm wherethrough a standard rigid endoscope rod is introduced and another upper orifice with a diameter of 0.6 mm for introducing the standard fine biopsy needle. The claimed method has the following stages: performing the local intranasal anesthesia with a textile pledget imbibed in xylene, and the local intrapharyngeal anesthesia with a standard xylene spray, transnasally introducing a standard plastic guide and transbucally extracting it with a clamp, followed by the suspension of soft palate and by transnasally introducing the system consisting of a standard 0 degree optical endoscope with a guiding device to which a fine biopsy needle with means for visualizing the rhinopharynx is attached, the control of the vomiting reflex being achieved by the double transnasal and transpharyngeal anesthesia and the space necessary to handle the L-shaped ultrasound transducer at the level of the rhinopharynx being obtained by suspending the soft palate on the plastic guide.Invenţia se referă la un dispozitiv de ghidaj ataşat la un endoscop transnazal standard, cu optică rigidă 0 grade, şi la o metodă pentru biopsierea cu ac fin, ecoghidată intracavitară, a rinofaringelui cu un transductor linear standard în L, prin suspensia vălului palatin pe ghid de plastic standard.
