The present invention relates to an absorbent article comprising a chassis, a pair of opposed elastic side panels attached to the chassis, and at least one fastening tab adhesively attached to each elastic side panel. The at least one fastening tab has a length (I) in the transverse direction of the article and a width (w) in the longitudinal direction of the article and each elastic side panel is embossed on at least a portion thereof, which is adhesively attached to the respective fastening tab, to form at least one embossed groove extending along at least 30%, preferably at least 40% and more preferably at least 60% of the width (w) of the at least one fastening tab.La presente invención se refiere a un artículo absorbente que comprende un chasis, un par de paneles elásticos opuestos fijados sobre el chasis y por lo menos una lengüeta de sujeción fijada adhesivamente sobre cada panel lateral elástico.
