PURPOSE: A crude drug composition which reduces blood glucose and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent and treat diabetes(type 1 and type 2) and to reduce low density lipoprotein(LDL).CONSTITUTION: A crude drug composition contains 100 parts by weight of black garlic, 62.5-850 parts by weight of balsam pear, 250-2500 parts by weight of edible snail, 0.375-4.5 parts by weight of cocoon protein hydrolysate, 7.5 parts by weight of a ginkgo leaf extract, and 0.0075-0.4 parts by weight of L-lysine.
