The present embodimentspro-vide apparatus and methods suitable forcon-taining and delivering a therapeutic agent to atarget site. The apparatus generally comprises atleast one container (18) for holding atherapeu-tic agent, and a pressure source (70) forfacili-tating delivery of the therapeutic agent. In oneembodiment, the pressure source may be placedin selective fluid communication with aproxi-mal region of the container and fluid from thepressure source may flow through at least apor-tion of the container to urge the therapeuticagent through the container towards the targetsite. In an alternative embodiment, the pressuresource may be selectively in fluidcommunica-tion with either a first hollow tube (62) and thecontainer so that therapeutic agent is urged intoa catheter, or with a second hollow tube (63)and a catheter so that a fluid from the pressuresource bypasses the container and enters thecatheter.
