PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine capable of optionally selecting a posture of a backrest part according to a taste of a person to be treated, even during reset time of individual registration information, and which can be easily used.SOLUTION: A chair type massage machine 1 comprises: a seat part 3 on which a person to be treated seats； a backrest part 4 disposed on a rear side of the seat part 3； a backrest operation part 7 for changing an angle of the backrest part in a range of a standing posture and an inclined posture in which the backrest part 4 is inclined to a rear side； and massage parts 21, 22, 23.
