The present invention relates to a folding and positioning device for an electric cart frame, particularly to an electric cart with a main frame correspondingly pivoted to a step frame. As not used, a seat assembly on the upper end of the main frame of the electric cart can be folded and reduced to lean horizontally against the main frame, and a handle pivoted on the front of the step frame can be bended and folded into the step frame. At last, the position where the main frame and step frame are pivoted together can be further bended and folded correspondingly by means of the folding and positioning device to allow the whole electric cart to be integrally folded. The step frame can be fitted adjacent to the main frame. The folding and positioning device is provided with a turning stand and an engaging stand pivoted to the turning stand. The engaging stand can be correspondingly embedded to or departed from a pivoting stand of the main frame, so as to achieve the spread and foldable configurations of the main frame and step frame. Accordingly, storage, placement or transportation thereof can be easily and conveniently achieved with a best positioning effect, as greatest values in the whole embodiment and practice.
